Now is that from the Torah, or the King James Version? Its important. Now, then... two things: Anyone out there having fun with the "Bible Code"? And here's another one... if you've got an immense amount of time to 'invest' or 'waste' depending.... Try this answering-islam.org.uk/Religions/Numerics/So tell me why there were 19 hijackers on Sept 11. It seemed to me like it was an odd number at the time, ( the WESTERN MIND recoils at the asymetry of a prime number and assumes that someone missed the plane) but I'm re-evaluating my position on that. greg99, here's the verse I was so trying to remember from my last post: Isaiah 45:7 I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I the Lord, do all these things. I would guess this is God saying he's responsible for Good & Bad. If someone's saying God does all the good, and man does all the evil, they're fooling themselves. RX, who said that? Isaiah or god? me confused I don't mean to be rude but what kind of a megalomaniac attitude is that? Should I be impressed by such powers? Look, I can also switch the light on and off, I can make money and god knows (pun intended) can I create disaster, you just haven't seen my room or my desk!!!!! I, Greg99, can do that. I too can make up great stories, hell I used to write mystery novels when I was a kid. I'll tell you a nice story: when I was about 5 I received a red book (I started reading at a very early age). The title was : The New Testament. I must have read it about a thousand times, if not more. One day, when I was about 10, someone told me the stories in that book were actually true, blah blah blah. Oh god I never laughed so hard in my life, I remember saying " you really do think I believe this ------(censored) ?" I never touched that book again and went on to writing my own stories. I must add that my parents NEVER told me about religion. My mom believes in and fears god because that's how she was taught, she never questionned it. My dad is more like me, but we never discussed it until I was married..... I'm a lost case, I do not believe anyone can tell me what is after death, I don't like to be threatened of eternal inferno and I am responsible for my own acts. But you all bring interesting arguments, it's a pleasure to read you all.

Hell, (hehe) if us non-believers do go down to the "eternal inferno" when we die, so be it. I reckon that if he did exist, Satan wouldn't be such a bad chap after all. I mean he was basically just a free-thinking (democratic?) angel who didn't like the fact that God was the dictator of heaven. Then he got booted out and had his name smeared through the mud by the church for 2000 years.
Hell can't be that bad anyway - there's a lot of cool people who, by Christian reasoning are there already: Hendrix, John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, the list is long indeed.
Why would Satan want his kingdom (hell) to be a crap place to be? Surely he would welcome those who didn't believe in God into his kingdom so that they would be loyal to him and want to serve him.
Anyway, it's a moot point coz I don't believe in God, Satan, Allah, Buddha or any other spiritual entity.

Didn't god tell us, or at least the Jews that after the last time they let him down, ge would deliver us no more.
He had had enough and decided to leave us all to our own devices, well I think we are left to our own devices, and what a F* up we are making of things.
Our only hope now is to be rescued by aliens
