...Well, I'll save you all the boring details...LOL...but to make a long story short, of the 4 guys from Austin, and Jason and myself...I kicked! I smacked everyone in the heat save one strange freaky bastard named "Rick"...
Who the hell is rick? Rick wasn't even in our group...he was a local extra that got shuffled into our heat to fill the ten slots! Wuff. RacerX refuses to acknowledge this mysterious "Rick" person! (I know M$ wouldn't have acknowledged him!!!)
Anyway, I kicked the collective butts of those who'd come to race the mighty Schumi of karting!!! Yet again I was victorious!!! (OK, OK, so I took second place, but I still don't know who this rick guy was...LOL) He freaking flew! (More on this later!!!)
As I exited my trusty kart, I stood proud! I knew the walk to the podium upstairs would be a good walk! I put my arm around Jas to comfort him, knowing he'd be disappointed that the "old man" kicked his butt! We laughed all the way up the stairs! Funny thing, in the immediate heat after ours...the pilots were standing on the "on deck" platform...I noticed two of them were female! As I walked past I commented to Jas: "Obviously a bunch of Girl Scouts."
I wasn't aware they'd heard my comment, but that obviously explains their perfectly timed, in stereo response of: "F*ck you asswhole!"
LOL....
Oh man, now I know how Schumi must feel...always hated for being the best! ;-)
We continued my triumphant march up the stairs to quickly gather the results on paper! Sure enough, they confirmed the arse kicking that had just taken place! I was listed second with the second fastest time of 24.933, behing only this mysterious "Rick" fellow.
All my friends (challengers) followed in descending order...3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th!
What a glorious night! Yet again, I was king! KING I tell you!!!***OK, I still haven't figured out this "Rick" guy but I have to share this:
That night, it seems some guy named Eddie Cheever was at the track! He'd been there most of the evening, and raced four seperate heats. His best time was a 24.030!!! I wasn't feeling too bad to post a 24.933, but this "Rick" guy...he posted a 23.905!!! Freaking blazingly fast!!!
Wuff, technically RacerX had his proverbial crown handed to him on a platter...with his head still attached! This "rick" guy kicked major butt!
Well...there's round one, Friday night I came home proud, smug & victorious...amongst my fellow friends. We went out on the town to celebrate, and had multiple tequilla shots!!! Of course RacerX need not bother with the billfold, his buddies were buying that night!!!
Wuff...
(Stay tuned...it gets better....er, uh..or worse..depending on what side you're on....)
LOL!

Hey Rubens, have you seen my medicine bag? Why, you ask. LOL... it seems the mighty Schumi of karting had seven or eight shots too many last night. I'm not sure how I got home, and I really don't even know if this is my diary...Rubens?? Ruby?? Oh...Oh good, it is you. Well, as usual, I was marvelous last night! I spanked butt on the track, then spanked cute butt on the dance floor, and up on the bar, and...Oh wuff...where's my medicine bag...I need some asprin...
Oh my little Rubens, you'd have been proud of me. No, No little fellow...I mean, yes I kicked butt on the track, but last night I slammed many a shots, I danced many a song, and oh hell...My head hurts too much to explain in detail. And now look at me...it's 6:30am and I need to shower and get ready for Saturday's F1 practice and Qualys!!!

Wuff, OK...I didn't get my diaries posted fast enough....no suspence here.... To make a long story short: I received a call Sunday evening, after the race, from cine_man! We agreed to go karting Sunday evening. Jas and his father joined us in making the journey to the track, and Jas joined us on the track. It was a butt kicking of noteworthy proportions....I, RacerX, was promptly handed my head on a platter by not only Jas (who'd I'd crushed two days before), but more so by our very own cine_man! Cine_man destroyed my fastest lap time by well over a second, and his lap average was again well over a second better than my lap average times. Wuff. It made for a rude awakening, and a very...very...very loooooooooong drive home! My only consolation, I was rewarded with a trophy! A trophy of magnificant proportions...not so much a losers trophy, but a trophy of greatness, a trophy fitting for a king...this trophy will be covetted for many, many years to come! My trophy, handed to me by the same man that handed me my head on the platter: Cine_man, was a most gorgeous, beautiful pair of new socks!!! Socks, I tell you! Socks! Ferrari red socks! And extra tall...extra long....I think they'd fit me like a set of "thigh-highs" on a HotPitBabe!!! Wuff...I don't know if that's really a good thing or not, but the socks rock! Cine_man, THANK YOU for the race. You kicked butt! Thanks you for being gracious in victory! And most importanly, Thank you for my new pair of SOCKS!!!!! Now, for punishment, for beating me...the Schumi of karting....I pledge to leave my old socks lying around in the monster, to forever smell the place up....AND....I swear I shall never remove this new pair you've given me, until I can redeem myself! You thought the last pair smelt bad....wait til you all get a sniff of these new ones....LOL!!!! They'll knock your socks off!!! LOL! OK, this should be the final entry into a Mad Man's Diaries....until I get retribution for Cine_man taking advantage of a sick, poor bastard like myself! Sick, I tell you...sick! Not just in the head mentally (like you all know me), but really sick! Super sick, I was on my death bed when he called! (OK, OK, I wasn't that bad....) But I feel violated! Taken advantage of, I tell you...completely abused! Wuff....Wuff!!! Super WUFF!!!! I want a rematch....I demand a rematch (hey, notice how it's always the losers that whine so much...LOL), I MUST have a rematch! In the mean time, I'm looking forward to a rematch with Pabs, on an indoor kart! Stay tuned.....it should happen next month...sometime in November...You're going down Pabs...I tell you that right now, for someone has to be the unfortunate receiver of my pent up frustrations....and i don't see any Girl Scouts out & about!!! Wuff...... Signing off for awhile, Race..er, I mean the Michael Schumacher of Karting P.S. Great race cine_man....you did kick my butt fair and square, but the previous dribble I've posted about you taking advantage of a sick man, well...that's my story & I'm sticking to it! not to take anything from your victory, but simply to cover for my ineptness...LOL! Tanks again, I had a great time & it was fantastic getting to meet you & your father! Great people!!!! Later, RacerX

Yes, RacerX, I think a re-match IS in order.... after all, you had several heats of "practice" for the ShamuKart event, and been "shown the way" by a local hotshoe. Quite frankly, I was extremely disappointed in my own performance, but consoled myself with the idea that this WAS my first and only exposure to the circuit, in a kart that clearly had been smacked into the barriers a couple of times. Why I wasn't able to hand you your "Head & Shoulders" is beyond me!
Seriously, I had a great time meeting you and Jason, and I'm glad you appreciated the "netsuke" greeting of a pair of Rosso-Corsa sox. Now I know they have taken up residence in the Monster, where they belong.
Some of those guys at Fastimes could kick ass, but seriously, though, couldn't they!?

Heh what was your times on the track? Remember karts #3 and #8 and maybe #1 are faster than the rest. I didn't want to say this until after i cleaned your clocks. The best place to gain time is on that turn going down and on that hairpin. there is a trick to these turns.

yes you have to be very aggressive to pass on this track. I was racing once with a few freinds there and a knucklehead that cliamed he was some Covette driver was racing in my group. He was just dangerous and pulled the shumi chop every turn. I didn't want to hit the guy and i always backed off to be nice. Well i was all over his ass and when i finally passed him, seconds later passed me during a yellow. Well my buddy was right behind me and was mad. So i figured i would turn the heat up. So on that downhill turn i simply kept on the throttle and spun the guy out when he pulled his CHOP. My freind just behind me was moving fast and had a choice, Hit me or the guy. My buddy hit that guy so hard the brakes stopped working on my freinds kart. after this was figured out the fasttimes guy watched us and saw what the old man was doing. turns out my other buddy hit him on the hairpin. they had to stop the session and yell at this guy. The track is tight and gives you one hell of a workout. I always leave bearly able to open the door.
