Whats the worst thing you've ever eaten?
Mine would have to be Salmon flavoured "Whisker Lickens" (eaten as a dare from my wife- I had to chew it too)... God that thing was foul cat food (at least the moist stuff) tastes as bad as it smells.
I've also eaten Milk Bones- but they're kind of flavourless- just a little gritty. They wern't too bad!
As far as "REAL" food goes... it would have to be pickled anything.

LOL, I remember mixing Milk, lemonade, and Coke when I was a kid... the resulting mixture was revolting! I think there were some weird chemical reactions going on... from what I recall it started to coagulate!!!!

When I was in college, I made spagetti with cheese (kraft dinner) with chocolate milk instead of regular milk!!!
The worst taste in the world is Shweps Tonic water with a piece of Brie or Camembert...it tastes like both vomit and muccus at the same time...amazing chemical reaction really...Tonic Water and Brie....try it, it's fun....in a disgusting kind of way....

LOL...now that's some funny sh*t, especially the chocolate milk...YUK!
My worst meal was while I was in Italy, I went to a (get this) Pizza Hut! A freaking chain Pizza Hut, figured I'd get recognizable food. Mistake. The pizza came out like a crust bowl full of grease. Very discussting.
Hey Wyc, my older brother once at some dog biscuitts too! LOL! You guys....crazy! ;D
LOL, Rx

Worse thing was recently. We were trying a new recipe - Vindaloo Chicken. One of the ingredients and especially the quantity sounded strange (125 ml of lemon juice) but put it in anyway. It was a Saturday night and we were starving.
It was absolutely disgusting - the lemon juice shouldn't have been there obviously. We looked up another recipe and the lemon juice was replace by broth.
Remember I said it was Saturday night. EVERYTHING here shuts from Sat. 5pm till Monday, and we had nothing else quickly done. We poured an entire bottle of ketchup to kill the taste. It worked. Now anyone wants the recipe for Ketchup Chicken?
I just want to point out that should any of you come to our place - which we hope - we never feed guests with anything we haven't tried first ;D

ROFL Greg99!! I was going to bring up that vindaloo as well! Actually just thinking about it is bad! Probably the worst thing to eat that I know of, and that is considered a delicacy by some, is a Swedish dish called surströmming. The direct translation of the name is sour herring. Now sour herring would be a compliment for what it really is....rotten herring!! Yep, it is rotten herring, can be purchased in tins that are swollen due to the fermentation. Once opened, the smell that escapes the tin is devestating, and personally I am unable to even remain in the same house, let alone the same room the tin has been opened in. But many Swedes love the stuff. I for one, has never been able to taste it as I found just the smell to be too revolting. Here's a link explaining how one eats this vile thing: www.svensson.com/norge/sur1.htmI like the fact that you are encouraged to drink lots of beer afterwards!

Is Vindaloo and alternate spelling of the Indian dish Vandaloo? Or a completely seperate dish...
A local reataurant, the Delhi Palace, serves a kick ass Chicken Vandaloo... A real hot spicy- Chicken curry (I don't remember it being particulary lemony)... problem is- that dish is HOT HOT...

The worst thing I ever ate (drank actually) was a little invention of mine caled the "Dung Piss and Cum"or DPC for short. It came into existence during day 3 of a pretty intense outdoor rock festival - you know the kind when you've been drinking so much for so long that you add beer to your breakfast cereal instead of milk just because you can . Anyway a couple of us were drunk at around 10am and we decided to try a new alcoholic breakfast due to the unexpected disappearance of our box of Corn Flakes. Thus the DPC was born - Dung=Baked beans, Piss=tequila, Cum=milk. Yummy

Hey now... I wasn't being Pedantic- I was simply being curious if they were, or were not the same dish... Things translated across languages often have various spellings... Anyhow- turns out Vindaloo IS the prefered spelling (according to Merriam-Webster)- but a search for Vindaloo or Vandaloo on the web pulls up LOTS of Indian Restaurant web sites... and yes they are the same thing www.albanymenus.com/id37.htm has both spellings used for the same thing!!!
