Guys, this is one of the best discussions on the forum since I have rejoined.
Cine, have you perhpas spend some time in Italy? Dunno, sounds like that. But I would always go for aceto-balsamico. I dunno, I forgot to buy the balsamico and had to eat the last 4 mozzarelle without balsamico. Hey, I mean not bad but I dunno something is missing. About the herbs: Yeah it's cool to have some but for me they are not neccessarily needed. I just love the taste of mozzarella. About the tomatos: yeah that is true. Our local supermarket, the "Conad", gets always huge loads of tomatos but they are either too hard and not ripe or really overdue (you say so in engl.?) So I dunno, also the tomatos have to fit. I think it's more difficult to find good tomatos than good mozzarella.
About the pizza: It's true. We have here in Forlì a little pizza store where you get little squares packed up in simple paper. EVERYONE I took there (my sister, her boyfriend, Dani, my friend here) LOVE that pizza. It's not a bout big style or a fat 40 cm pizza, not it's the little things which make a pizza a great pizza....

mmmmmmm yeah that pizza was good, and suprisingly filling for one little square piece. Oh thanks chris, now you've gone and made me hungry for something decent like pizza.

Speaking of Italians,
Here in Toronto we have an Italian community of 750,000 people. The largest single community outside of Italy. We have fantastic Italian food.
Furthermore, I get fresh fruit and veggies everyday and they taste fantastic. I recommend you buy tomatos while they are still on the vine. Yummy.

I knew this was going to get me in trouble.
Forza Azzuri!
Voi me credere, si ho dice "Non sono italiano?"

If any of this makes sense... it'll be a total wonder, bcause it has been years....

ok somebody needs to educate me about cheese and whine so i can pretend to be a sofisticated individual and get more chicks! ;D OK... Lesson one... To whine properly you must always sound fake and use a high pitched voice... insert "Oh Why" as often as you can... Example: "Oh Why did this happen to me? Oh Why? Oh Why? Oh Why? Why did I spill the wine on my white shirt? Oh Why?"

Stop calling women chicks.
