Justice has been served. The "hand of god" was finally punished. This being said, let's give the cup to Senagal and stop this charade: I am sick of getting up at 5 am to watch a damn footie game!!!

Wycco, Glad to see you flying the Swedish flag. However, having seen a part of the second half from their game against Nigeria, I can't say I feel they deserved their victory. I'm still debating if it was the Nigerians that really had no luck, or if it was Sweden that had all the luck. Nevertheless, that game could sooo easily have swung the other way. I just can't stand it when a team settles for a 1 goal lead, and then tries to kill time. Certainly they will have to up their game considerably if they hope to beat Argentina in the next game. And, if I had to bet, I would bet on Argentina and England making it through. No, I was not impressed by the Swedes, with the exception of that Henrik dude! Great scorer, and that first goal was beautiful!!

whoa henrik! i can't beleive you watched football! lol! but anyways I am also really happy for england. In 1998 they really deserved to beat argentina and it didn't happen because david beckham just had to kick that guy, what's his name? The one that's in love with himself! ahhh never mind!!!so it is justice i think!even though my argentinian friend was severly pissed off! ah well sucks for him! lol!

Go Colombia!!!... oh... forgot we didn't even make it to a first match this time... I don't know... Argentina is Latino Power... but they are a bunch of self-involved doods, that really don't deserve it... but many of my friends are from that fellow country... but screw them, in soccer Colombia and Argentina will always be opposites, super heroe and arch-villian... but the situation at their country is so desperate, not passing first round will take away all hope from them... but all of you seem to be cheering for England... oh wait a minute, not Pabs... Go Argentina then! I always cheer for the underdog, and given the points in their group... go f***ing Argentina!

WOW......... Just got home from England and I've never seen so many St. George flags in my life. It makes the Americans look unpatriotic in comparison. LMAO. I'm sure the Jubilee may of had something to do with it. Well done Becks for exorcising your demons. Owen was awesome.

Dani, You should have seen '86... I am fully confident of it wasn't for Maradonna's "Hand Of God Goal" (damn cheating Argentine's ) England would have gone through to win the World Cup that year. But there again I am a bit biased. '98 was a shame too- but in all fairness it was a very even battle- and neither team deserved to lose... but someone had to! My main problem with Argentina is they seem like they want to wrestle rather than play football- I'm not sure why it is- but there is always so much physical contact on shirt pulling when ever Argentina play anybody... I think Argentina would be awesome at Ice Hockey!

Wycco, Glad to see you flying the Swedish flag. However, having seen a part of the second half from their game against Nigeria, I can't say I feel they deserved their victory. Unfortunately- I have not got to see many matches! Naturally, I would love to see England's arch enemies go home in shame... LOL- I don't really have anything against Argentina- LOL- just their football team!!! And Sweden- as a country I think highly of- and a nation representing a Shamu Croaker- I do wish all the best for the Swedish team. Here is hoping England and Sweden make it through to the next round!
