Holy female quadrapodal cud chewing animal...
Just heard the weather report from hell... temperatures are way below freezing and its snowing like anything...
Yes thats right England killed Australia on the 5th day of the Ashes (cricket)... lets just ignore the fact that Australia won the first four tests- thats inconsequential... LOL...
This is Australia's first home defeat by anyone in four years... And it came from England??? LOL- how strange- and about as likely as the US winning the FIFA world cup (twice in a row)...
LOL... oh well... it will be another 4 years before England beat Australia at cricket...

I forecast that result (4-1) with my bookie; Logic = Australia is far, far, better than England, or any other team for that matter. However the Ausies are big time gamblers so they would throw the last game and clean up big time with the bookies.

If I were a betting man, Id definitely put money on Oz taking the world cup. The only team IMHO that's even remotely likely to win the World Cup is South Africa (*patriotic grin*), but even that's unlikely. Oz is the Schumacher/Ferrari of cricket, damn them. hehehe. Can't wait for the tournament to start - now I just gotta get hold of tickets...

you got that right!! it is hard to imagine them not winning the world cup. well like schumacher in F1, they have worked hard to be where they are, they have the right mix of talant and that helping of luck. so good for them, i shall be rooting for the ozzies to win the world cup this time, but do not rule out pakistan just yet. i hear they have recalled saed anwar, that guy can certainly bat. and i've always like waqar younnis, so if he is the captain, then i'll be rooting for them to win as well. hmmm perhaps a topic for a different thread.
well done england, you took the shit and came out smelling like roses (well almost). it took guts to do what you did and that win will for a long time be very very special.
