2 rounds left; 20 points available; 60 points to Wirdheim to second placed Ricardo Sperafico's 37 means Wirdheim takes the championship. Thanks for making the championship exciting Björn!! Whatever, congratulations FPAer! Jonathan Palmer is certainly having a good week for his graduates... Nice win for Ric too... but another procession me thinks... ah well!

No doubt Bjorn has been fast and consistant all year long. Overall Bjorn in the Arden has definately been the winning combination...
BUT- can Bjorn overtake? I know the sensible thing this weekend was to just stick behind Splatterfico- especially since Ricardo has a habbit of taking people out the race and Bjorn didn't need more than 2nd...
But still- Bjorn has won the race from the front... sure he's fast- but can he overtake?
Best showing of Townsend Bell all year I think... Perhaps he is finally learning how to race! He has the Arden- he should be capable of winning by now- he has almost a full season under his belt.
Sam Hancock- didn't see him all race- but 12th isn't bad for a first time in F3000... Not jaw dropping- but not bad...
Shame Luizzi couldn't make the pass of Bjorn stick... that would have made the race slightly more interesting!
And yes... Boring race #3 in a row for F3000!

After seasons in Formula Palmer Audi and German F3, if the guy can't overtake (of which I can't think of any examples of offhand - though I never saw any German F3) then he has no business calling himself a racing driver...! Besides, the fashion in F1 is leaning towards drivers that can't overtake - look at all the recent FRenault graduates... Not to mention the ones who've never raced F3 (thank god for telefonicas )
