Guys,
I am sorry about the porn popups that Proboards has generated sporadically today.
I have no control over the ads- Proboards puts them on the page as their "payment" for our use of the forum software and host machine.
Porn is against their TOS and I'm sure this is just a freak accident. However, the frequency that they slip through the cracks and appear on our boards is unacceptable- I've sent them an e-mail expressing my annoyance!
Please accept my apologies on this... I'm sure proboards will have it fixed VERY quickly!

Aye,
I've not got them since this morning... I HOPE the problem is fixed...
Unfortunately- my knee jerk reaction to seeing the popup was to immediately close the window... If anyone gets the porn pop-up again- could you get the URL for me please?
It's easier for the ad company to remove the offending link when the name of the company/URL is known to them.
However, that said- I've been hitting refresh trying to respawn the article so I can report it correctly, and I haven't had it appear again: That leads me to believe its fixed!

Thanks Wycco!
I must admit it's a bit irritating. The server here at work blocks any number of pages, from Hotmail to porn. I've seen the blocking messages a number of times on proboards pop ups - "Access to site containing word sex restricted" is my usual message. The other day got one about "hacking" - I try to close them before they come up now just in case...

Well...
The porn should be removed now. Regarding the hacking- any idea what the URL for that was? I had no idea about that... let me know and I'll report that ad.
"Hacking" and all illegal activities is against Proboards OWN Terms Of Service- I'm sure I can get that one removed if I know what it is.
