I'm thinking of building in a "team only" section- so that each team can post messages to each other that only they can see- to discuss team strategy- or ideas for changing logos/colours.
Let me know what you think of the idea- its very easy to create- so if you like the idea I'll build it in.
BTW- there won't be many upgrades to FPOTM for about a week now- I'm going to a job fair this evening- and Friday evening thru Tuesday evening I'm going to be down in Hilton Head, SC. (hey we're not all BBQ in SC we have some classy beaches too!)

Nice try Wycco..... From the outside it sounds like a very good idea, BUT having developed a twisted mind after a brief stay with the reds...(I know, you can all throw the rotten tomatoes at me now) I have a vital question: When you say this section is only seen by the teams individually, does that mean that the moderators / administrators have ABSOLUTELY no access to it? What happens if we have a problem with it - log in, crash or other? If the admins have access to it then it gives Tora's Whores and Almighty Motorsport a clear advantage.... I'll vote when this is clarified.................. ;D

Wycco - I would have thought the private messages would have been satisfactory for this purpose. After all - how many messages does it take to discuss how and when to click a mouse button....
Hehehe..... hey Wycco - you know my feelings on technologies assisting drivers.....

OT, LMAO!!!!
thats right - back in my day we didn't have the luxury of posting aids - if you were too fast or too slow you simply didn't win - you had to do it all yourself including running your own team single handedly.....
hahahahaha
but to be honest Wycco, i don't think they would really help Team 0-Five - until there is any level of support for the driver from the team, there is little point in having a private Team board - the 'team' doesn't even turn up on race day anymore!!!! I think this would only serve TWR, not only as they run the admin as Greg points out, but as as 3 driver team up against effectively a 1 driver operation like Team 0-Five, it is handing out unfair favours to the bigger teams...

Whoa, Are you insinuating that TWR are the Ferrari of FPOTM? Wycco can we strip PK of his points. LOL. Just kidding. OT made a good point that we do have messaging capes, so why go to the extra effort. But it could be interesting to have a team board, especially towards the end of the season. Errrr, I guess I can take or leave it but if we can get an advantage then I'm all for it.

LOL- well naturally I COULD read other peoples boards if I wanted to- after all I do have the database at my disposal- but I wouldn't necessarily unless someone reported a problem.
Regarding tactics-
I wasn't suggesting- so that you could tell each other how to click the mouse button- but rather- for teams with just 2 members- they could discuss candidates for a 3rd team member in peace without EVERYONE being able to read what they were writing-
Or even discussing logo changes- colour preferences...etc...etc
LOL- its up to y'all- it wouldn't be hard to write- so if anyone would use it- I'll write it- if noone will- I won't!

Hmmm,
Don't think I would really use the option if it existed. PM's are usually fine.
That said, I want to get hold of Pabs right now to see what he thinks of the logo for Almighty! So, yeah, maybe there could be a use for it.

Wycco - I was being very tongue in cheek with my response....
I think it's a good idea - but whether it gets used to any great extent, only time will tell
