Well this week has started and what a blood-bath it turned out to be;
First up Ruby took on Gregg, Ruby was looking to continue her winning streak and Gregg was hoping to stop her losing streak.
I don’t know whether Ruby is building herself up for this competition with fine foods from James Martin’s deli, or not. But poor Gregg took a hammering again, Rock-to-Rock was a gentle start, then Ruby cut lose with a crushing blow on Gregg’s Scissors with her Rock. Gregg’s tried a last gallant attack with a huge Rock, alas this was smothered by the marauding Ruby with her paper. So 1 point goes to Gregg and a massive 5 points go to Ruby.
In my second match we had the young upstart, Julio-Montoya against last seasons runner-up Pabs. I can only imagine that Julio thought aggression was the only way with this Latino Lover, as he steamed in with 3 Rocks, each one bigger than the last. Pabs countered the first Rock with a classic counter-attack and Julio’s rock was left helplessly tangled in Pabs Paper. Julio’s next Rock was met with an identical South American Rock, nor wishing to change his strategy, Julio launched his last, and biggest, Rock towards Pabs but again this was muffled by a large piece of Paper held aloft by Pabs. So Pabs romps home with 5 points and Julio limps away with his 1 point, however, I am sure youthful exuberance will see our youngest challenger back as enthusiastic as ever next week.

This is turning out to be a very good championship, with tough fights all around. Almighty has started the third week on a roll, only hope I can keep that up....
As for me, I was to witness the master Danny Boy up against the paperboy, who really must find a new nickname since his strategy has changed.
I can only assume that most of the spectators expected Danny Boy to walk away with an easy victory, but that was without considering that Topcontender still has some fight left in him.
In the first round, Danny Boy began with a paper, perhaps in an attempt to obtain a draw. However Topcontender countered with scissors, shredding the paper and pocketing 2 points.
Danny Boy came back in the second round with scissors, rightly assuming that Topcontender might slip back in to his old self, with paper. 2 points to Danny, and the last round to determine the winner....
Feeling confident that he had mastered TC's strategy, Danny again attacked with scissors, only to be met by a rock! Bang, another two points to Topcontender, and overall victory for this week!!
So, Danny Boy has finally met his match in Topcontender, the final score being 2 - 4.

Well, Brainfade hasn't shown up yet...and I don't think I've seen him recently. So we just sit here and wait I guess; otherwise, it's 6 points for Bernie Wyccostone.

Aye, If Javaman doesn't show up- its 6 points to daSilva too...
That would be enough to put daSilva one point into the lead of the championship.
