Question- Whats the best way to get CDs cheap- without having to join clubs (or resort to illegal activity)- couple of CDs I plan on getting- but really low on cash right now- so I don't want to waste anything on CDs.
None of these are new CDs- all from the last century.

Wycco - you tried looking on E-bay? Thats the best legal method I can think of, or else check record stores for special offers.

Usually I head down to CD Wharehouse- They have what I'm looking for 50% of the time- I don't care if a CD is used or not- (not shopped for CDs recently- but I know CDs there used to be $4.99- $5.99)
Can't beat that in stores where they are usually at least $9.99 even on the best sales- and they almost never have what I'm looking for on sale.
No, I haven't tried E-bay... I'm probably the only person on the web that has never purchased- or even looked for something on E-bay... I'm not trusting enough to buy from a complete stranger online.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any cheap online sources?

It's the "legal" part that is stoping me from answering...lol
Because there are various ways: e-donkey, WinMX, Kazaa or my personal fav: shoplifting ;D
What about iTunes: .99c per tune....it may be Apple only though, I am not sure...
And Pawnshops...
That's pretty much it, me think.

Wycco, Ebay is pretty good actually - each seller has the number of sales next to their name, and you can read lots of reviews from previous buyers. Obviously if a buyer has several negative reviews, then maybe its not so good an idea to buy from them, but most are fine.
I have bought a number of small items via Ebay, and had no problems at all so far.

I've never bought anything on e-bay either Wyc, but I know a lot of people from work who buy AND sell things on there. To be honest, I've only ever looked to see what they've got, rather than specifics, and never found anything I've wanted to buy that I could afford. Anyway, the number of people I know who do use it, seems like its a decent place really, and as Ruby says, nice and easy to check on the people you're buying from.
