1)RX; They're crazy & ignorant. Me; ANYONE who blindly accepts religious doctrine, of any persuasion, is crazy and ignorant. 2)RX; I understand you're incredibly angry too. I understand. Me; I knew 2 of the people killed in the attack, so yes, I am incredibly angry. 3)RX; where's your proof that American bombs killed THOUSANDS of innocent civilians in Iraq? This is a baseless claim that can't be backed up with facts. Me; I don’t think I have ever claimed that? 1) You better beleive it. I, for one liked SG's litlle "Kamikaze arives in Heaven"story (Sorry JWK). More people have died because of religion then for any other "political/intelectual" reason, including expansionism, communism...You CAN NOT have a dialogue with someone who is sure God is talking to him...Keep them ignorant, feed them religion and voila: a fanatic!!! 2)I think most people of good will are "incredibly angry" at the world today. We have good reasons too. It is clear, our "princes" are in it for their personal gains: freedom, democracy, culture...they're just words, meaningless to those who rule us. More then ever, money and power rule. Nothing has changed since Nicolas Machiaveli...Fuck them all!!! DB: Sorry to hear that. That must suck BIG time. Under the circumstance, your post showed a lot of restraint. 3)I did. I think my math logic is valid. I maintain it. Thousands. Dumb statistics: the best "smart" IBM missiles hit within 170 feet of their target 50% of the time. Knowing how many missiles were shot...thousands of dead civilians seems very very understated. True, not true... does it matter anymore when it comes from either fanatics on both sides? And this should help the situation: from bbcnews.com on friday: Amnesty International is investigating claims that Iraqi prisoners of war were tortured by US and British troops. A "substantial proportion" of 20 former Iraqi POWs interviewed by the human rights group said they had been maltreated by coalition forces in central and southern Iraq. Some were civilians who were held on suspicion of being Iraqi militia, Amnesty said. One Saudi Arabian national claimed he was subjected to electric shocks. The UK's Ministry of Defence said it had not seen any of the details of the allegations. "All the prisoners held by the British were held under the terms of the Geneva Convention, and they were frequently visited by members of the International Red Cross," a spokesman said. In one case we are talking about electric shocks being used against a man and in others people are being beaten for the whole night The alleged mistreatment included "beatings with fists, with feet, also with weapons," Amnesty researcher Said Boumedouha said. "In one case we are talking about electric shocks being used against a man and in others people are being beaten for the whole night and are still being kicked and their teeth broken. I think you would call that torture," he said. The man claiming to have received electric shocks was believed to have been a Saudi man who had entered the country from Syria during the war and was suspected of being a volunteer for Saddam Hussein. I am changing planet...I am sort of sick of this one S....

Danny Boy,
My apologies...I did try to warn you though. I guess it was more of a knee jerk reaction to reading all the negative stuff. I can't really add more than what Smokin' Gun & Srrh have said, but with maybe one exception.
I really believe these people are just that: Crazy & Ignorant. These people NEED some type of education. There's obviously a reason why their Governments control their media, and I believe it is to keep them ignorant.
More ignorance: Look at their freaking kill ratio. It's freaking ludicrous. If they feel they're doing what's right, killing Americans & American sympathisers, they suck at it too! I find it hard to fathom this way of thinking.
The last tally I've read about Palestinian vs. Israelis dead (since this latest flare-up of Sept. 00) was so one sided, it's rediculous. Take the latest bombing in Suadi, 7 Americans killed...to 9 terrorists. This doesn't make sense for plain survival reasons.
I would like nothing more to see an end to terrorists, and at this rate we will(however it will unfortunately take too long). They're blowing themselves up faster than they're killing Americans & others off.
Now personally, I'd like to see a much more reasonable way to end terrorism. Hopefully, someday, we really will see peace in the middle east.
WUFF....enough of this negative sh*t.
Danny Boy, I really do enjoy your posts here, they obviously make me think & more importantly give me a good insight to your side of the planet. My apologies for seeming incensitive to your countrys way of life.
Don't laugh, but my favorite saying used to be: This country needs an enima. I'm convinced it's not just THIS country...I'm thinking it's this PLANET!
I'm with Srrh, I'm ready to move to another planet, unless we can fix this one soon...real soon.
Wuff, take care and enjoy Sunday's race!
My condolences to you for your two friends. This sh*t has to stop. You almost wonder just what it will take to get people to wake the F*ck up. I knew when the WTC went down, it'd wake this country up, but I'm worried it hasn't done that. Alot of people are just pissed and want the terrorist blown off the planet, a small portion just want it all to end at any price, and God knows what the remainder of us are doing.
Hopefully the silent majority will do something with the next round of elections...who knows.
Anyway, I sort of went off on you & for that I sincerely apologize.
You know what really sucks, I'm guessing their's MILLIONS of people out there just like all of us here, that for the most part really like people reguardless of where they're from. With all this hate sh*t going around, alot of us won't get the opportunity to enjoy the company of alot of others.
Srrh, good points about the deaths of the Iraqi people. Yes, thousands have died (and are continuing to die). I don't think the US should bear the brunt of all of this though. It could just as easily be blamed on the UN Sanctions, or more importantly, Saddam himself.
There's PLENTY of blame to go around.
It would be best if all the energy that's "world wide" being put into placing blame, were put into trying to get that country back on its feet again, and becoming a productive nation of this planet. LOL, if they too don't decide to leave it! ;-)
Wuff, too much hatred on this planet...it really does need an enima.
You all take care. Thanks for letting me vent. I know, I know (Srrh)...I have so much to learn.
Later, RacerX

Wuff, I failed to mention too: I just read where another 20 or so were killed in Casablanca. This sh*t really does suck. And one lst thing: Danny, sorry to keep at it, you mention American flags & I think something about jubilant people in the streets? (I could be wrong here..memory fades to fast these days...LOL) Anyway, yes, I saw on TWO occasions where a couple of over-zealous marines whipped out the US Flag and acted like fools. One, of course, was the statue of Saddam (Hello, what are you thinking?) and the other was earlier, in a small town in Southern Iraq. The one raised in Southern Iraq was ordered lowered immediately, while the one on the Saddam statue was...well, inexcusable, but temporary. Wuff, I could go on about the "orgasmic delight" but enough negative crap. There's enough of that out there, with-out us creating more. OK, I've rambled waaaaay too much for even me, so as I say here in Texas: Buenos Nachos! (Yes Pabs, I know...I know, but really Good Nachos to you all!) Nachos go great with cold beer! ;-) later, RacerX
