LOL... hehehehehehe had to include a poll when mentioning this subject.
I don't expect this to start a big debate- BUT... thought it worthwhile to bring up:
Some democrats are calling for polls to be outlawed because they "Influence" democratic societies and pursuade people to vote for only the more well known candidates. They believe polls are hurting "the little man"-
Personally- whilst I believe polls DO have some baring on what peoples opinions are- I think any move to "Censor" polling is a load of bull... whats the point of having a democracy if you can't be free?
Anyhow- what are your opinions- should polls be outlawed? Prevented 30 days before elections? Or do you have other suggestions or ideas?

If you look at the french presidential elections, I'd say yes.

yes having so many polls and going by them just makes for stupid government. Look at bill clinton he ran so many f-ing polls that it was basically his policy.
however, polls for information can be usefull if done correctly. elections tell you exactly where you stand if you are running for office.
