america is the only place that has green money... we have red/blue/green/yellow/purple money in australia. why do we call this topic green?

have you ever seen some of our money? it is colourful, plastic money, that has clear windows in it... far more better than US green that is all the same size, and colour... mind you all your money has cocaine on it!

hehehe glendo. I too have a slight issue with the term "green"...I thought this was a thread on gardening tips and was working on my green thumb. In Switzerland, our money is not green either, quite colorful in fact, but we gladly accept US$$$ anytime  8) |

Apparantly- the US is planning to re design every US note/bill over the next 7 years- and guess what... they are considering making money that is colours OTHER THAN GREEN!!!! They will be using different coloured ink as counter counterfitting measures!
PS- does it really bother you that much that the forum is called green?

GREEN Green green...
what a colour that is, grows on the floor everywhere, yet we can't ever seem to have enough of it.
But well, yeah, I wanted to add on to greg's comment on how green this whole site is...
I don't want to say its relaxing nor annoying, I just wanted to bold it out a lil perhaps.
PS: Money in Colombia is very multicoloured too, some perhaps too much.

No other countries money is what looks strange. I swear that everyone but america is using funny money that belongs on a Monopoly board. Plus the Euro has to be the most ugly set of bills i have ever seen. Those bills are in need of help. I know it was done to make everyone happy but they suck.

LOL...one of the funner monies I've come across was while i was in Cayman. It has a typical "money" like formal picture on it, then you have a blank circle. When you hold it up to a bright light, it becomes a picture of a sea turtle...pretty cool.
Oh well, there's my two cents worth on money...I like the US monies, mainly because green is my FAVORITE color...thus my addiction to this site as well...LOL!

I believe that "green" is just a generic term. The same way here in the states a "coke" is to any cola brand.
No cocaine jokes please. hehehe
greg99....honey........I know that you don't care what color money is.....the only important thing is that it's in your account!
