Grief!!!! How annoying!!!!
--- They are currently fixing this for Mozilla, so that Mozilla users won't get that message...
OR AT LEAST THEY SAY they are...
LOL- you'll have to let us know if it works with Mozilla- I'll have to switch so I don't get all the pop ups... LOL

over the past few days SC has gone all goofy to me. it first started with the pages loading off and on, now it is doing other things. When i load SC the page sometimes opens in a special way, and just now when i post or if someone else does, it only sometimes shows if someone actally posted there by highlighting the section. very odd stuff. Henrick told me he is not having any problems, but i wonder if anyone else is getting this.

No code changes have been implemented for several weeks.
By "highlighting" do you mean- shows you if a certain board has been updated or not since your last visit?
If you haven't visited a board for 60 (I think 60) days- it will show that board as updated- even if it hasn't been updated.

I have a lot of threads and posts that show they are updated and they are not. And June 27th was not 60 days ago. This has happened several times before.

I think what you have seen in the last day or so, with lots of threads showing up as new but not finding anything new in them, is do to some houskeeping Wycco did.
He has moved threads from current events to the threads where they actually belong, and this creates the "new" signal to go on, although nothing new has been posted.

Aye, that is true- moving a thread to a new location does trigger the "New" flag for that board.
