fresh form the premiere of the second matrix movie..
i seriously recommend seeing it.
the door is blown wide open with the new movie(s). the effects and the story are seriously multiplied, and it is breathtaking how much the audience is asked to soak in... but it is nothing but briliance. The perfect weaving of quality actio, story, effects and even acting will no doubt make this one of the biggies this year. When the 3rd installment is released in Nov, i am sure Matrix trilogy will be in big leauges for years to come.
10/10

Sim City = Reality Simulation 1990 style. Matrix = Reality Simulation 2090 style... If you consider the fact that technology is expanding at an exponential pace... and mankinds fascination with simulations- it stands to reason that man will eventually have simulations that simulate all of the laws of physics and recreate the universe (digitally) before too much time has passed. If you consider the # of simulations run (sim city style) today... and consider how many people will be on the planet 100 years from now- potentially running matrix like simulations... Mankind will create MILLIONS of Matrix's... The odds are we ARE in a simulation right now! LOL Hope noone unplugs our computer!

Just got in from seeing Matrix Reloaded with my son - we both thought it was amazing. I've never seen special effects used so brilliantly .... . This one resets the bar ... for years to come

saw just a few of the trailors some days back, and have been reading about it on the net. my pulse is racing and there is something to look forward to. life just got a little bit better.
i loved the first matrix even if it meant explaining the story to the folks at home. the story was brilliant and the action superb. i only hope i don't have to wait too long before i can get to watch it.

OK i went to see this movie and i have a to say a few words. 1. thie city was odd, but OK
2. Fight scenes were over played, yes i love a good fight scene, but they were to long.
3. loved the new info, might havce to see it agian just to get everything correct.
If you have not seen it dont read beyond this line
OK when Neo is with the architect he is given 2 options. Go for the girl, or repopulate the place. To me i saw a third option sitting in front of him. That is Kill the architect. Doing that will give Neo the ability to control the matrix from that room so he would be able to free everyone and not kill them. I might of missed something of what the architect said or he might be too powerful, but killing that guy seems to be the logical step to stop everything. If Neo is such a burden to the Archtect, why didnt he kill him when he was in front of him.
I dunno something to think about. ;D

too true... they lost me for for a while with that room info.
the whole machines vs machines thing put a whole new element into thoughts.
maybe they had too much money to make the movies... nonetheless, still 10/10.
CNN reported it has broken box office records for highest weekend ticket sales. US$ 92.2 million since Friday!
that is serious money.

Ah did you see the trailer after the movie for "Matrix Revolutions?" It basically shows a fight between Smith and Neo as control for the matrix come into play. Zion is seen as a batte ground.
As for Reloaded i just back back from it for a second time. 1. The Merryl Lynchian, the Oracle, and the Achitect (aka coronel sanders) all claim that this Neo is smarter than the previous versions.
2. did you see Roy jones Jr?
3. A balance of machines/programs and humans are stressed. Plus many machines/programs do not always want the machines to win, but they dont want thier way of life to go. So in thoery the Oracle might like Neo, but does not want him to destroy the Matrix for that will destroy her.

Here's a head fuck!
Neo is able to stop machines in the real world. What if that reality is not the real world but just another Matrix!

yup eaitehr he is some wizard or it is another matrix. that would suck and really make the story far fetched

i don't think it would be that far fetched... having a matrix inside a matrix and another matrix inside it and so on... lol someone once said that life is but a dream inside another dream... it would be the obvius solution to that "remainder" problem - construct as many universes inside one another as possible so that effect of that "remainder" is minimised... one "choiche" in one universe won't make a big difference if you have 1000 nested universes. there's stilla virtually unlimited number of choiches neo can make. the matrix of matrices will only be restricted in depth by the computing power available... rant over, i'm thirsty now

yeah but it doesn't explain the trailer. in the 3rd movie the fighting takes place in Zion and in the MAtrix. Thier is nothing about a 2nd Matrix.
Oh well we will see in Nov.

TC,
Plenty of fighting exists inside the Matrix in Reloaded, why can't fighting exist inside another Matrix?
