Tonight is the night for FPOTM August...
PreRace- Show:
DeadCat has joined TWR- replacing RacerX.
Several records are up for grabs:
Career Wins.
A win by either PK or OT will see them tied with Pabs for most career wins.
Wins in 1 Season.
Currently OT holds the record for 3 wins set in 2002- If PK or Pabs win tonight, they'll tie this record.
Career Podiums.
Currently Pabs and Greg share the largest number of podiums in FPOTM- one of them could steal the record for him/herself tonight.
Podiums In 1 Season.
If Pabs gets a podium tonight he'll break the record of "5" set by both OT and Greg in 2002.
Career Points.
If PK gets 8 more points than Pabs tonight- he will overtake Pabs in being the driver to score the most points in his career.
There are a whole bunch of Team records that could be broken tonight too- the biggie is "Overall Wins". The Whores and Almighty have both won 5 FPOTMs. Dream Power have won 4. - If any of these teams win- the record book will have to be rewritten tonight.

Well...
As a follow up... Great race everyone...
TWR getting a 1-2-5... excellent finnish.
TC won his first podium.
This result sees TWR re-establish themselves as the most wins in the *history of the sport- 1 ahead of Almighty...
(well the history of FPOTM Version 2 anyway)

Well done Whores and a special mention to DC who in his first time drive takes home victory, albeit at my expense. Cheers

By the way- Pabs has extended his lead in the championship by 1 point.
The podium tonight was not populated by anyone (going into August) that was in the top 6.
Pabs' lead has been cemented more tonight... Time is running out to close that increasing gap too! Only 4 races remain.

I would like to take this opportunity to refute any ideas that may be growing about a possible rift within TWR as a result of DeaCat's signing to the team. It is well known that in the past there has been some bad blood between myself and DeadCat, dating back to a brief stint i had as a member of Team Feline. Sure i was disappointed about not being given an extension to the 2 race contract i had with the team at the time but i have moved on and enjoyed some success in the past 2 seasons with Team 0-Five and now Tora's Whores. I welcome DeadCat into the team and hope that his win on debut for the Whores is a sign of things to come as we fight for the constructors championship. Naturally i am saddened to see Racer X gone as he was a mentor for me within the team and a great source of pit babes - nobody quite knows how he does it but he must have something working in his favour! Racer X was a great team mate for Da Silva and myself to have and DeadCat has his work cut out for him if he wants to fill the void that has been left. I wish Racer all the best in his retirement and i look forward to his ongoing relationship with the team in his new role. While i welcome DeadCat into the team i am yet to be convinced as to wether he can work effectively as a team mate - he has not spoken to me since his signing to the team nor during competition so I cannot say how he feels about crawling into a highly succesful team after the demise of his own. I am sure we will see how his being a part of the team pans out as the championshiip begins to rap up with only 4 races remaining this year. Who knows, I may be pleasantly suprised, however this is not my concern at the moment - my goal is to win my first FPOTM Drivers Championship and in doing so take TWR to a constructors championship win. I will not be losing sight of my goals because of personel changes within the team.

Now the question in my mind is...
Is the Chinese FPOTM team a hoax or real? I suspect hoax- but strange things have happened!
Anyone willing to come forward?
PM me if you need me to do anything to help you set up the team!

Cheers for TWR not having me pull over even though title contender dasilva was only 1 second behind…. (Though I found later that my radio was unplugged)
Now the congratulations are all well and good, cheers, but what’s with these accusations?
I’m not even that computer literate, these accusations are extremely out of character for me and have shaken me quite badly. OK, so maybe I know how to underline stuff in Word and once someone told me how I could place “wallpaper” on my computer, but that is the extent of my computer knowledge I swear. I’ve even forgotten all the “wallpaper” stuff…
I mean, it’s not as if I could hide a small inconspicuous Trojan program in an animated gif file to simply relay back an IP address and then remotely through a previously set-up sever bank in Malaysia send malaligned SNMP and deformed IP packets to the address to effectively disable their internet access for a short period of time….
As far as I know the IP address is where Mr.IP lives (who consequently runs the internet from this address, I think he is also very rich and likes porn a lot)…

OK back to my monthly write-up... FPOTM- Drivers: Good race- DeadCats maiden win for TWR- and Topcontenders maiden podium. daSilva also showed a return to form- scoring a podium. Realistically- with only 4 races left only Pabs and PK stand a strong chance of winning the championship now. Greg and Henrik are holding on as dark-horse runners. 9 Points seperate 1st and 2nd... PK is going to need to average 2¼ more points per race than Pabs to steal the championship... 1) Pabs (AMS) 50 2) PK (TWR) 41 3) Henrik (AMS) 33 4) Greg99 (DP) 33 5) Mo (DP) 26 Constructors Almighty still have a massive lead- but it was cut in half this month... The Whores leap frogged Dream Power to assume 2nd and are in hot pursuit of Almighty for the championship 1) Almighty Motorsport 91 2) Tora Whores Racing 72 3) Dream Power 68 * Incidentally- TWR once again hold the record for most wins of any constructor- following the August race. LPOTM Drivers LPOTM is definately looking gold for Pabs. He scores his 7th podium in 7 races this year. Nearest competitor, Mo, sits 11 points back. 1) Pabs (AMS) 56 2) Mo (DP) 45 3) daSilva (TWR) 33 4) Henrik (AMS) 28 5) Greg99 (DP) 22 Constructors This is all Almighty- Almighty has opened up a 30 point lead. 1) Almighty Motorsport 95 2) Dream Power 64 3) Tora Whores Racing 59 FPOTD Drivers da Silva continues his charge- the man who was 200 points behind the main pack in now 200 ahead of it. Ruby, Deadcat, and PK had strong showings this month in hot pursuit of the main pack. Mo, moves into the top 5 ahead of teammate OT- Mo has Pabs in his sights next- now the gap to Pabs is down to just 11 points! 1) daSilva (TWR) 1266 2) greg99 (DP) 1093 3) Henrik (AMS) 1037 4) Pabs (AMS) 980 5) Mo (DP) 969 Constructors The Whores continue to be out gunned by the other two teams- daSilva contributing 3/4 of the team's points. Up front- the gap between Almighty and Dream Power remains nail-biting close. Almighty has a mere 18 point lead on Dream Power. (thats less than a 0.8% gap). FPOTD is going to be a battle to the end between these two constructors! 1) Almighty 2337 2) Dream Power 2319 3) Tora's Whores 1617 And thats the recap of August!

Oh I see, if low budgeted Andrea Moda calls for a recount, equipment check, or any other illegal move we are treated like Minardi, and nothing happens. However,if it is a big team like Dream Power, TWR, or Tora's Whores who asks for a recount, everyone now thinks it is a big deal.
I SEE IT IS JUST A CONSPIRACY BY "THE MAN" TO KEEP THE LITTLE GUY DOWN!!!!

I SEE IT IS JUST A CONSPIRACY BY "THE MAN" TO KEEP THE LITTLE GUY DOWN!!!! Incidentally- the 8 points TC earned in August DID push Andrea Moda into 4th spot in the FPOTM constructors race. After the "big 3" Andrea Moda is now officially the "Best Of The Rest". Not only that- BUT Andrea Moda is now the 5th highest scoring team in the history of FPOTM- scoring 22 points since its conception late in 2002. Ahead of AM, in 4th for overall points scored across all seasons, is Team 0-Five with 54 points. Team 0-Five has not scored any points this year- nor have they competed this year... You need 33 more points to eclipse them TC!
