My spouse isn't really into mixed drinks, unless its champagne in orange juice... With the Bailey's and Kahlua mixtures... there is the good old standby with the two aforementioned liqueurs layered... and top with Grand Marnier... you will recognize the "B-52".... G model I believe. I make two girlie drinks for the neighborhood on hot summer afternoons... both blender drinks -- good old pina coladas, but with 151, Knudsen Organic Pineapple and Coconut juice, fresh lime, and blended with crushed ice. Little umbrellas of course. My take on a Margarita is a Welch's frozen limejuice can, dumped in the blender with 1.5 oz of gold tequila per guest, and a half ounce of Triple Sec each. A couple of handfuls of ice cubes... slush, do the regular dacquiri glass rimmed with lime juice and salt... voila, incoherent suburban wives. Whats the other thing.... oh yes, the Midori Sour. Equal portions of Midori honeydew liqueur and Whiskey Sour mix... a handful of ice cubes... blend. Its like one of those lime popsicles you liked as a kid but this one sneaks up on you and bashes your brains out. Most often, though I like two fingers of BlackBush mixed with a glass. Drink right away. Cine_...

Hey Cine,
Since you're a Canadian, are you familiar with the Kids In The Hall sketch "Girl drink drunk"? I always think of it when I think of girlie drinks. LOL.
Whiskey man eh? I like Jameson's 12 year old (Irish) and Lagavulin 16 year old (Scotch)

jameisons... yum. johnny blue label, royal salute or chivas regal is my preferred weapons of choice. due to there price tags, i will settle for the dregs of the scotch world that are served in every dingy nightclub all over the world

woo hoo!
Fav drinks (besides beer)
Long Island Ice tea ONE FULL OUNCE of each of the following into a tall glass with ice, lemon and orange slices: Gin Bacardi Vodka Cointreau Coke Orange Juice Lemon Juice
It tastes like tea!!!!
Orgasm: Cointreau and baileys on ice - garnish with fat strawberry
Squashed frog is (i think) three layers, like a traffic light (strawberry liquer, galliano and midori) except on top, take some baileys and slap it into the shot glass (carefully) and it will smear through the layers to create a smeared effect of red, green and ooze..looks like you just ran over kermit....
or - after a few of those:
Perfect Dry Martini Take sticky cold ice, place in shaker. Pour Noilly Prat dry vermouth ver cubes, tip out, retaining ice. Take tanquery, Plymouth or Bombay Sapphire Gin from the freezer, add 3 + 1/2 ounces to the shaker, DO NOT STIR, DO NOT SHAKE and pour straight into chilled martini glass...add a lemon twist or triple olive..
A nice martini fan (particularly in the states or london) will tip you big for that....
Classic GT: Fill a highball with ice, add two ounces of Tanquery Gin from the freezer (if any left after those bastards drank all those martinis), quarter of a lime and top with tonic....

Do it with "7 up" and you get a "Panaché" Mint syrup: you got a "Parrot". Cassis Syrup: a "tango". Srrhgf also does it with Ginger ale, I have no idea what it's called. Oh, I know what it's called: an insult too beer !! S....
